On May 21, 2014, Lake Keowee Ford proudly sponsored the first annual “Tee off with the Tigers” golf tournament to benefit the Clemson Foothills FCA. This organization promotes integrity, service, teamwork, and excellence in athletes and coaches. The Lake Keowee Ford team enjoyed the gorgeous weather, the friendly golf competition, and most importantly, the opportunity to support our beloved Clemson Tigers.
On April 16, 2014, our dealership had the pleasure of sponsoring the Collins Children’s Home Mud Run in Seneca, SC. The Collins Children’s Home and Family Ministries is a local organization founded in 1977 to provide shelter, stability, and compassion to families and children experiencing hardship. A team of Lake Keowee Ford employees also participated in the event and had a fantastic time promoting and supporting our community.
For the fifth year and counting, Lake Keowee Ford hosted families from Oconee County at our Easter Eggstravaganza on April 19, 2014. The day was filled with sweet treats, bounce houses, games and prizes, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny! The children had a wonderful time, and the event raised more than $2,296 and donated $100 toward every vehicle sold that day. All proceeds benefited the Collins Children’s Home, which works to help Seneca, SC, families flourish.
In partnership with the Upstate Legends Jeep Club, Lake Keowee Ford hosted its second annual Jeep fundraiser to support The American Red Cross and Relay for Life. The event took place on May 11, 2013, when Lake Keowee Ford pledged to donate to the American Red Cross for each car sold, and Jeep drivers from the community participated in exciting events. Upstate Legends cofounder Terri Cassell was presented with a $1,400 check, and the event was a huge success.
Lake Keowee Ford hosted its fourth annual Easter celebration to benefit the Collins Children’s Home on March 30, 2013. Our dealership proudly served the community by pledging to make a donation to the Collins Children’s Home for each car sold. The event raised just over $2,600, which helps Collins Children’s Home continue its important work in residential home care, counseling, and family outreach.
Our dealership is passionate about community support, so on October 20, 2012, Lake Keowee Ford pledged to donate money for each vehicle sold at this donation drive event. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so all proceeds benefited residents of the greater Seneca area, including people in Anderson, Greenville, and Easley, who need to receive treatments at the Breast Care Center at Oconee Medical Center. A total of $35,000 was raised to support breast care and health in our community.
